Philip's journey began with cherished outings alongside his father, targeting Largemouth Bass and Catfish in the Tennessee River and Kentucky Lake. This early connection to the water evolved into a 28-year military career, during which he pursued diverse fishing experiences across the globe.
Captain Philip's fishing expertise spans a variety of styles and locations. From Salmon, Halibut, and Sturgeon in San Francisco to Steelhead Trout and King Salmon in Washington State, he ventured even further to Alaska for coveted King Salmon and colossal "Barn Door" Halibut. Retiring in Hawaii provided him with opportunities to chase Mahi Mahi, Swordfish, Sailfish, and Marlin. His global exploits include fishing for Tuna and Mahi-mahi in Okinawa, Japan, and enjoying Trout and Carp fishing in Germany. Despite this extensive journey, the Gulf of the Emerald Coast remains his favorite fishing destination, holding a special place in his heart.
